The three-year contract includes options for additional renewals.

HORSHAM, PA -- Inframark, LLC, is pleased to announce that the Tawas Utilities Authority (TUA) of East Tawas, Mich., has chosen the company over its current operator for full-service operations and maintenance (O&M) of its 2.4 million gallons per day (MGD) wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The three-year contract, with three-year renewal periods, will begin April 1.

“The Tawas Utilities Authority is excited to be partnering with Inframark for the operations and management of our wastewater treatment facility,” said East Tawas City Manager Brent Barringer. “This process has taken persistence and dedication from our partner cities as well as Inframark staff to make this partnership possible. We are confident that Inframark is the right partner to advance our wastewater practices for years to come.”

The addition of TUA adds to Inframark’s resume in the Great Lakes State, where the company also operates the WWTP, nine lift stations, and 15-mile collection system in Howell Twp.

“Inframark is proud to partner with the Tawas Utilities Authority in the operation of its wastewater treatment plant,” said Inframark Vice President Kirt Ervin. “We will ensure that we provide the Authority and its customers with the excellent service and expertise that they should expect and deserve.”
